Romania in Good Spirits after Opening Win
Romania got their Euro 2024 campaign off to a perfect start with a 1-0 win over France in their opening match. It was a famous victory for Romania, who are ranked 20th in the world, and it has given them a great chance of reaching the knockout stages.
Romania coach Edi Iordănescu was delighted with his team's performance against France. He said: "It was a great win for us. We played very well and we deserved to win. We are now in a good position to qualify for the knockout stages."
Romania will be without suspended midfielder Răzvan Marin for the match against Belgium, but Iordănescu is confident that his team can get a result.
